Professional Biography

Michael Saidu Dumbuya is a barrister and solicitor of the Superior Court of Sierra Leone with over five years of valuable experience. Mr. Dumbuya's experience spans international trade, investment, intellectual property, insurance and risk management, arbitration, and African regional integration, among others. 

Alongside his legal practice, Mr. Dumbuya is also involved in academia. He lectures in the newly established Diploma in Law programme at Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology. He has also conducted research on a wide range of legal fields, including AfCFTA IPRs and Access to Medicines, the AfCFTA Dispute Settlement Mechanism, and the AfCFTA Pan-African Payment and Settlement System.
